Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Planner to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial advisory services and helping clients to achieve their financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of financial planning, retirement planning, investment strategies and a proven history of client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalised financial plans for individuals and their families based on their financial objectives, risk tolerance and time horizon.
  • Conduct in-depth client reviews to assess their current financial situation and identify opportunities for wealth growth and risk mitigation.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on various investment strategies, asset allocation, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and other relevant financial matters.
  • Review clients annually to make sure plans are still on track and adjust as required.
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact clients’ financial plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for all their financial needs.
  • Collaborate with a team of financial professionals to deliver a holistic and integrated approach to wealth management services, leveraging internal resources and external experts when needed.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory standards, ensuring full transparency and ethical behaviour in all client interactions.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, educational programs, and certifications to continuously enhance professional knowledge and expertise.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be QFA qualified, CFP is an advantage
  • Experience in a similar financial advisory role
  • Strong understanding of Life, Pension, and Investment products
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, establish rapport, and develop long-term relationships with clients.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using financial planning software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.

The Role

Reporting to and working closely with a seasoned Chief Marketing Officer, the role involves driving marketing success through effective planning, implementing, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across all platforms and channels. Specifically, the role includes the following:

Website:

  • Development and project management of new website
  • Content writing, content management, SEO
  • Derive meaningful insights and recommend action points from analytics

 

Stakeholder management

  • Manage external supplier relationships effectively
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged

 

Social media:

  • Develop content strategy and supporting content calendars
  • Drive engagement, brand value and sales across platforms
  • Analyse campaign efficacy to inform future strategy

 

Events

  • Support SYS Group client events and participation at industry exhibitions, etc.
  • Sales enablement
  • Help to produce collateral that supports sales initiatives
  • Work closely with the sales team to actively support the sales process

 

CRM:

  • Work with the sales team to drive maximum value from the CRM
  • Leverage valuable insights for marketing purposes

 

Advertising:

  • Run effective campaigns, analyse effectiveness and provide detailed reporting to management – always curiously seeking out opportunities for improvement

 

Reporting:

  • Provide regular, insightful reports to management outlining performance against KPIs together with recommendations for improvement

Qualifications and experience:

  • Educated to Degree or 3rd level, ideally
  • Marketing or digital marketing qualification essential
  • 3-4 years’ experience in B2B (and B2C, ideally) digital marketing
  • Experience driving brand and engagement growth on social media
  • Evidence of previous sales and marketing success will be requested in areas such as SEO, CRM, website management and advertising. Marketing-tech certifications in SEO, analytics, CRM, WordPress, paid media, etc. greatly valued
  • Clean driving license
